Mr. Roberts is an associate of Sherrard & Roe and practices in the Firm’s corporate practice group.  He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2008 where he was a graduate of the Vanderbilt Law & Business Program and was a member of the Vanderbilt Law Review.

Mr. Roberts is a 2003 graduate of the University of Mississippi where he earned a Bachelor of Accountancy, magna cum laude, from the University’s Patterson School of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University’s School of Business.  Mr. Roberts also graduated from the University’s McDonnell-Barksdale Honors College.  While a student at the University, he was elected Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma, and was 1 of 10 students inducted into the University of Mississippi Hall of Fame for the 2002-2003 year.

After his undergraduate studies and before entering law school, Mr. Roberts worked for Ernst & Young in the Firm’s Memphis, Tennessee, office.  While there, he served clients in the express package delivery, electronic payments, manufacturing, and retail industries.  Mr. Roberts is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Mississippi.

Mr. Roberts was named by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as one of Nashville's 30 Under 30 honorees for 2010.  He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association's Business Entity Study Group.  Mr. Roberts volunteers his time for the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville where he serves as a member of the Volunteer Review Team.  He is originally from Jackson, MS.
