Direct (615) 742-4549 Fax (615) 742-4539 Throughout her career, Carla Lovell has concentrated her practice in the areas of estate, trust, charitable, and business planning, as well as probate and estate administration. Ms. Lovell helps individuals, business owners, and professionals develop and implement plans to appropriately distribute their assets to their families and other loved ones and charities taking into account tax and non-tax factors, all consistent with her client’s goals. Sophisticated estate and taxation planning techniques are used when necessary, but Ms. Lovell strives to achieve each client’s desire for simplicity. She considers estate planning to be an educational process to be built on over time and looks forward to working with her clients throughout their lives as their family and financial circumstances change. Many of her clients own their own businesses so Ms. Lovell is often called upon to handle business-related matters, including organizational issues and succession planning. She often advises trustees and trust beneficiaries regarding their rights and responsibilities with respect to trust administration. In the areas of probate and estate administration, Ms. Lovell appreciates the special stresses inherent in the process of settling the estate of a loved one and strives to guide her clients through the often complex process with understanding.
